Duties:
Setup and operate a variety of machine tools to cut or grind metal, plastic or other materials to make or modify parts or products with precise dimensions create custom parts, assemble, dismantling and repairing machine for our specialized equipment in Industries such as Tooling, Aerospace,Oil and Gas Industry.



Responsibilities:

· Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables or study sample parts to determine machining operation to be performed, and plan best sequence of operations

· Computing dimensions and tolerances measure and lay out work pieces.

· Setting up, operating, repair and maintenance of various types of conventional machines tools.

· Performing Conventional & CNC Machining such as Milling, Drilling, Turning, Tapping, Grinding, and Sawing.

· Verifying dimensions of completed parts for accuracy and conformance to specifications.

· Handling various types of measuring instruments such as Vernier callipers, Micrometers, Depth Gauges, Pin gauge, Slip Gauge etc.

· Having advantages if CAM skills.



Qualifications:

· Ability to work extra hours if required.

· Minimum 3 years demonstrated ability to set up and operate Conventional, CNC Machinist and Minor repairing Machines

· Ability to read and interpret drawings

· Effectively communicate information with managers and other employees

· Motivated to learn and able to work independently with minimal supervision

· Willingness to cross train on other types of machinery is an asset

· Industries Preferable : Tooling, Aerospace, Oil & Gas Industry



Experience:

Conventional Machinist: Min 3 years (Preferred)
CNC Machinist: Min 3 Years (Preferred)
Machine Mechanics: min 1 year (Preferred)
· Shop floor: 3 years (Preferred) and Single piece machining skills not a production job.
